Our Chapter's Achievements

St. Pat's 2019

This March, TKE once again claimed victory over the annual St. Pat's Competition. During the one-hundred-eleventh best ever St. Pat's, our St. Pat's Overall Committee head - Jared Buese - rallied the house to win in Green Friday competitions, Follies, the Cudget Competition, the Show Shillelagh, and other competitions. After being given the honor of building the Queen's Float, the house even won the best float award.

Top TKE Chapter Award

In 2017, we won the Top TKE chapter award, an award given only to the best nationally ranked chapters. We received this award due to our chapter's above average GPA, our extensive alumni outreach, our philanthropy events (which include both TKE Trivia Night and TKE Taco Night), and our new member retention!

We've also won this award in the following previous years:

  • 1975
  • 1979
  • 1981
  • 1984
  • 1988
  • 1994
  • 1997
  • 2017

The Beta-Eta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Missouri University of Science and Technology was installed as a chapter on March 8, 1947.

Since 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon has never had an exclusionary clause for membership. TKE does not judge men on their wealth, rank or honor, but instead on their personal worth and character.

Our mission is to "to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life." In essence, we build Better Men for a Better World.
